To advocate for sponsorship as a critical and creative marketing strategy
Every day, across the globe, brilliant campaigns come to life, forging powerful partnerships and innovative ideas to push our industry forward. Yet, too often, the incredible people behind these projects—and their stories—don’t get the recognition they deserve.
We’re here to change that.
We want to showcase your work—whether groundbreaking or quietly impactful—across our new website, weekly newsletter, and social channels. Consider this a platform for celebrating not just the big wins but also the small victories, bold ideas, and hard work that move our industry forward.
Need inspiration? Here are some themes we’re curating in 2025:
📰 Highlight Reel – Headline stories about trends and shifts shaping the sponsorship world.
🤝 Global Partnerships – Features unique, creative, or surprising partnerships from anywhere.
🎤 Main Stage – A spotlight on activations and campaigns that captivated audiences or delivered results.
📊 Stat Sheet – Articles or videos about metrics, research, and the tools that prove sponsorship’s value.
👥 People People News – Profiles of the individuals—marketers, creators, and leaders—who deserve to have their voices heard.
But these are just starting points. Your story doesn’t have to “fit” a category—it just needs to be worth sharing.
What We’re Looking For:
• Stories (100-800 words) about deals, activations, partnerships, tools, or industry insights. Press releases are welcome—we can help shape them into articles.
• Visual content: Photos, videos, and infographics highlighting your work for our social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and more).
• Voices & Ideas: Recommendations for interviews with marketers, thought leaders, or individuals making a difference.
We’re also launching a new podcast and are looking for global perspectives and unique voices to feature—perhaps yours or someone in your network. From leading groundbreaking campaigns like Kraft Hockeyville to spearheading programs with brands like Tim Hortons, Unilever, and Danone, Julian’s career reflects an impressive mix of creativity, strategy, and results.
Championing Diversity and Inclusion
Beyond his professional achievements, Julian has played a pivotal role in advancing equity within the marketing industry. As a founding member of People of Colour in Advertising and Marketing (POCAM), Julian has helped highlight the critical need for representation and inclusion in Canada’s marketing and advertising communities. POCAM’s initiatives, such as the Visible & Vocal study and Call for Equity, inspire industry-wide change.
